The film “Seven Pounds” is about a male named Will who has depot cancer. He finds another chairman who wants to die — Ben — and decides to assistance him die. The initial time we watched a movie, we didn’t like it during all since it seemed like Will was holding divided someone else’s right to select their possess trail by life or death. But afterwards we watched it again and saw things differently:

First, in a opening of a film, Will is celebration coffee. we get my proclivity from coffee!

This is a film about Will, an typical male who wants a best for his family and friends. Will is successful, yet not since he’s impossibly rich or famous—he’s only got a lot of expostulate and ambition. He wants to yield for his family in each proceed possible, and he loves them dearly.

Will has a good heart, that can be seen when he gives income to homeless people on a travel or when he adopts some internal children into his home as encourage relatives (although this does means some tragedy within a group).

Second, he never thinks anything of himself.

Even yet he is a really successful man, and is a really free man, he sees himself as no one special. He mentions several times that his mother died since of his palm — he took her life away. we feel this way, too. we feel that holding my life, or assisting someone to finish their possess life (even if they have begged me to support them) is wrong. But Will doesn’t see it that way. we wish we could see it like that infrequently — generally when a pain is bad and a other options for assistance are exhausted.

Third, he finds a chairman in Ben who doesn’t wish to die.

who would cite to live than die or “cause problems for others.” This man’s enterprise to live, even though wish and though wanting to continue vital himself (because of his depot illness), reminds me that there IS still some hope. Some people do wish to live and they select to live. Maybe not out of wish — maybe out of strength or other reasons. we don’t know since they chose life over genocide yet I’m blissful they did. Maybe someday we will know what propels them to continue brazen even when it seems hopeless.

The third thing that stranded with me from this film is how Ben’s impression shows us how we should perspective life.

First, he finds a chairman in Will who doesn’t wish to die — who would cite to live than die or “cause problems for others.” This man’s enterprise to live, even though wish and though wanting to continue vital himself (because of his depot illness), reminds me that there IS still some hope. Some people do wish to live and they select to live. Maybe not out of wish — maybe out of strength or other reasons. we don’t know since they chose life over genocide yet I’m blissful they did. Maybe someday we will know what propels them to continue brazen even when it seems hopeless.

NOT since he expects anything in lapse yet since assisting others feels good regardless if it advantages him or not!

And finally. The finale left something adult in a atmosphere so that viewers are left wondering what happened subsequent for these characters that leaves room for interpretation about how one competence proceed their possess conditions differently formed on what we saw occur here!

I consider this is a indicate where we see a value in selecting life over death. It’s not about perplexing to get by it or simply going by a motions. If we select life, afterwards we have to live it! You have to be benefaction and focused on what we want. This is since we trust that wish is so critical in the lives. Without it, we are stranded in a state of dilapidation watchful for something good to occur yet never holding movement to make anything occur – generally if it means creation sacrifices for ourselves or others.

Seven Pounds is a pleasing film that brings adult critical questions about life and death. we consider it’s value examination if you’re meddlesome in these themes.
